My contract was not terminated on performance basis – ‘Broken hearted’ Empem Dacosta

Former Karela United defender, Empem Dacosta sees his contract termination at Kotoko to be unfair since it was not based on sporting reasons.

The versatile defender had his contract terminated by management of Kumasi Asante Kotoko earlier this week. According to the player, he is not perturbed by Kotoko’s decision to terminate his contract because there were many who sought for this opportunity but couldn’t get the chance,” he told Kumasi FM.

“I want to emphasize that, my contract was not terminated on performance basis, the records are there to prove”. Empem Dacosta believes with the will of God, the truth will be revealed a day to come.

“I thank the Kotoko family, talking of the management, technical team, playing body as well as the fans for their support during my days at the club.”

Empem Dacosta played on loan at Legon Cities in the past season from Kotoko.
