Former Kotoko defender, Empem Dacosta has not given up on his football career after seeing his contract being terminated by Kotoko.
The Porcupine Warriors have decided to offload the hard-tackling defender as the club plans to cut out over 10 players from a squad size of 38.
Empem who lost his regular position after receiving a needless red card in Ghana Premier League game last season could not get the chance to prove his worth.
He has indicated that he is not perturbed by the decision of the club.
“I’m not perturbed by Kotoko’s decision to terminate my contract, I will focus on what is ahead of me,” he disclosed to Kumasi FM.
According to the utility defender, he has always loved Kotoko and never disappointed anytime he was called on duty.
“I will never give up, football is my profession and I believe there are many opportunities elsewhere.”
Empem Dacosta who played on loan at Legon Cities in the previous season thanked the Kotoko family especially the fans for their support during his time at the club.
