I would think twice if I am asked to coach Kotoko again – Steven Pollack
1 min readFormer Asante Kotoko coach, Steven Pollack has admitted that he would not jump at a chance to return to the club again after the Ghanaian giant failed to compensate him for the July 12, 2017 gory accident.
In 2017, Asante Kotoko team was involved in a fatal accident on the Nkawkaw-Kumasi road when the team was returning back from a Ghana Premier League clash against Inter Allies.

The unfortunately incident claimed the life of the team’s Deputy Equipment Officer Thomas Obeng Asare. Other officials and players suffered injuries.
However, non of the individuals on board had been paid any compensation or enjoyed from insurance package they were promised.
Pollack and other players and officials have expressed disappointment in the Porcupine Warriors for not compensating all those who were involved in the road accident.
Speaking to Kumasi-based Oyerepa FM, Pollack said, “I will think twice if I am to come and coach Kotoko again….”

The former Berekum Chelsea gaffer however, denied suing Asante Kotoko.
