VIDEO: Ghanaian referee chased like ‘armed robber’ for awarding penalty to away team

Ghanaian Referee Maxwell Hanson run a race of his life in Sunyani when irate Supporters suspected to be those of Brong Ahafo United pounced on him for awarding a penalty against their side on matchday 27 of the Ghana Division one league match against Real Tamale United at the Sunyani Coronation park.

It was in the first half and the referee had no option but to reverse his decision for the game to continue.
