GFA President Kurt Edwin-Simeon Okraku has termed the upcoming biggest soccer fiesta as a Kakalika FIFA World Cup for Ghana Black Stars and the rest of the world.
“The road to 2026 promises to be special. And yes — it’s a Kakalika FIFA World Cup for Ghana and the rest of the world” he noted after hiplife duo – DopeNation had paid him a courtesy call at the GFA Headquarters in Accra on Tuesday, May 19, 2026.
The GFA President, as part of his vision, to make Ghana Football and the 2026 FIFA World Cup exciting and entertaining invited the dynamic music duo, DopeNation to his office to deliberate on how best they can help whip the interest of Ghanaians in the World Cup.

The meeting was very successful as it centered on bringing back the love people used to have for the Black Stars and Ghana football in general.
“Our engagement centered on the exciting possibilities that lie at the intersection of football and music — two of Ghana’s most powerful instruments of national identity, pride, and unity.
“As we build momentum toward the global showpiece, there is tremendous value in bringing both sectors together to inspire our people, energize support for the Black Stars, and project Ghana positively onto the world stage.

“I am grateful to twin brothers Micheal and Tony Boafo for the visit, the warm exchange of ideas, and their shared enthusiasm for contributing meaningfully to Ghana’s World Cup journey.
“Their creativity, energy and growing global appeal present exciting prospects as we explore avenues for collaboration,” Kurt Okraku mentioned.
