GPL: Midfielder Elvis Opoku named man-of-the-match in Legon Cities’ draw with Berekum Chelsea

Legon Cities midfielder Elvis Opoku was adjudged man-of-the-match in his side’s 1-1 stalemate with Berekum Chelsea on Saturday.
Opoku was handed his debut as he was named in the starting lineup for the Royals on the night.
Chelsea took the lead in 22nd minute through Stephen Amankonah’s penalty.
The home side equalised through a parity in the 34th minute through former Chelsea player Jonah Attuquaye.
Opoku joined Cities on transfer deadline day from Aduana Stars.
He becomes the first player to be named man of the match in the 2020/2021 Ghana Premier League season.
