Legon Cities, Berekum Chelsea robbed during Premier League opener

Premier League clubs Legon Cities and Berekum Chelsea were robbed during their 2020-21 Premier League opener held on Saturday.
According to reports gathered, the players and technical teams of both clubs were robbed when they were on the field playing the match at the Accra Sports Stadium.
The robbers took away their laptops, monies and phones while the match was ongoing.
At the moment, there hasn’t been any official statement from Legon Cities, Berekum Chelsea or Ghana FA regarding the incident.
The game ended 1-1. Stephen Amankonah scored the opening goal of the day for Chelsea but Legon Cities equalised twelve minutes later through Jonah Attuquaye.
