The first round of the 2020/21 Division One League came to a close over the weekend with some intriguing results.

In Zone One, Ghana U-20 star Abdul Fatawu Issahaku netted a hat-trick as Steadfast FC thrashed Wa Suntaa 4-0. Lucky Staph scored twice as Real Tamale United came from a goal down to beat Unity FC 2-1. Mighty Royals recorded an impressive 3-2 away win over B A United. Bofoakwa Tano and Berekum Arsenal game ended in a 1-1 stalemate. At the Ohene Ameyaw park, the game involving Techiman City and Tamale City ended abruptly as the referee was reportedly abused.

In Zone Two, leaders Bibiani Goldstars were held by Wassaman FC.Skyy Fc defeated Swedru All Blacks 4-2. Sekondi Hasaacas returned to winning ways as they defeated Asokwa Deportivo 1-0. Proud United recorded their second consecutive win as they defeated Pacific Heroes 2-1. Samartex secured slender 1-0 win over BYF Academy.

In Zone Three, Vision FC were held at home by Mighty Jets to a goalless draw. Accra Lions played a 2-2 draw against Amidaus Professionals. Tema Youth stretched their lead at the top with a 1-0 victory against Uncle T. United. Danbort defeated Kotoku Royals 2-0 at home, whiles Okyeaman Planners were shocked at home by Accra Young Wise.
