Division One League: BA United, Bofoakwa share spoils in Bono derby; Accra Lions thrash Agbozume Weavers as Gold Stars humiliate BYF

The big winners on the second week of the Division One League were Accra Lions FC and Bibiani Gold Stars.

On Saturday, Agbozume Weavers were thumped 4-0 by Accra Lions FC in Sogakope in Zone III.

The Abokobi-based side have now made it two straight wins and on top of the table.

Midfielder Hashim Ali scored brace with a goal each from Evans Etti and Kelvin Kyei.

In Zone II, Bibiani Gold Stars made it two straight wins with a comfortable 4-0 win against BYF Academy at home.

The grande derby at the Sunyani Coronation between BA United and Tano Bofoakwa ended goalless in Zone I.

Young Apostles continued their winning run with a 2-0 success at Nsoatreman.
