Ghanaian attacker John Antwi is the first foreign player to score 100 goals in the history of Egyptian Premier League.

The 28-year-old achieved the enviable memorable feat after scoring the consolation for Pyramids FC on Sunday when they suffered a 2-1 defeat to El-Gouna SC on the road.

Antwi became the highest foreigner in the history of the Egypt league last season after bagging 63 goals to overtake compatriot Ernest Papa Arko.

He has achieved the historic record playing for four clubs in the Egyptian league.

The former, Hearts Of Oak, Eleven Wise FC and Dreams FC star scored 35 goals whilst playing for Ismaily SC from 2012 to 2015.

He also netted 11 goals for Egyptian heavyweight Al Ahly SC between 2017 and 2018.

He then netted 40 goals for Misr El Makasa from August 2017 to July 2019 before moving to Pyramids FC where he has scored 14 goals since joining them.
