“We will come back stronger” – Hearts Of Oak striker Kassim Cisse

Hearts of Oak striker Kassim Cisse has said that he and his teammates will come back stronger after a poor first-round performance in the 2023–24 Ghana Premier League.
The Phobians have struggled since the commencement of the season, leading to the sacking of head coach Martin Koopman just three months after joining them.
They secured a slender 1-0 victory against Bechem United in the last game of the first round of the season. The victory was a much-needed one for Hearts, who had gone five games without a victory.
Youngster Martin Karikari snatched a late victory for Hearts at the Kumasi Sports Stadium on Sunday.
Cisse, an Ivorian forward, believes the team won the game through determination and hopes to build on that after the break.
“Our boys showed character and that is what made us win the game despite the penalty miss. We shall come back stronger after the break,” Kassim Cisse told the club’s media.
Hearts are currently occupying the 9th position with 21 points after 17 rounds of matches.
