Transfer News: Ligue 1 side Saint-Étienne in pole position to sign Asante Kotoko striker Franck Etouga

French Ligue 1 outfit, AS Saint-Étienne are in contention to snap up Asante Kotoko attacker Franck Thierry Mbella Etouga in the summer.

According to a report filed by Oyerepa FM on Tuesday afternoon, has made an official bid for the Cameroonian star who has had an impressive start to his debut season in the Ghana Premier League.

According to the report, the French club has offered to the Porcupines €800,000 for the 21-year-old plus a 15% onward transfer when they sell him.

Etouga has had a blistering start to life in Kumasi, netting 16 goals with two assists in the Ghana Premier League and is in pole position to clinch the Golden Boot at the end of the season.
