Swiss-based striker Kwadwo Duah rejects chance to play for Black Stars ahead of World Cup playoffs against Nigeria

English-born player of Ghanaian descent Kwadwo Duah is reported to have rejected a call-up to the Black Stars ahead of the 2022 World Cup playoff against Nigeria.

Footydreamsgh.com understands that, the St.Gallen forward has been contacted by the  Ghana Football Association to switch nationality and play for the four-time Africa champions.

But the Swiss-based striker has rejected the opportunity and wants to focus on playing for Switzerland.

Kwadwo Duah, 24, was born in London, England, and moved to Switzerland at a young age. He is of Ghanaian descent, and holds dual citizenship with Ghana and Switzerland.

Kwadwo Duah was born in London to Ghanaian parents and moved to Switzerland when he was a kid.

He has had a good season with St.Gallen scoring 10 goals in 24 appearances.

Ghana play Nigeria on March 25, 2022 at the Cape Coast Sports Stadium in the first leg before  playing the second  leg on March 29,2022 in Abuja.
