English-born striker Antoine Semenyo earns debut Black Stars call-up ahead of Nigeria clash

English-born Ghanaian striker Antoine Semenyo is reported to have earned a call-up to the Black Stars ahead of the crucial 2022 Fifa World Cup playoff against Nigeria this month.
The hierarchy of the Ghana Football Association is believed to have had a successful discussion with the Bristol City attacker ahead of the all-important clash.
Semenyo, 22, has been in some scintillating form since December last year. His imperious form since December saw him win the Player of the month award in January in the English Championship.
According to a report filed by Kumasi-based Nhyira FM, Semenyo is set to earn his maiden call-up to the Black Stars ahead of the FIFA World Cup final eliminator.

Interim Black Stars coach Otto Addo is set to announce his squad in course of the week for the all-important clash with Nigeria.

Meanwhile, Super Eagles handler Augustine Eguavoen has named a 32-man squad for the crucial final round world cup qualifier against the Black Stars of Ghana.
Ghana host Nigeria at the Cape Coast Stadium on March 25 and then the reverse fixture is slated for March 29 at the Moshood Abiola Stadium in Abuja.
