Starman Fabio Gama wins Man-of-the-match award in Kotoko’s heavy win over Bechem United

Asante Kotoko midfielder Fabio Gama was adjudged the best player in their 4-0 victory over Bechem United on Wednesday, April 7.
The hard-working Brazilian was a tireless performer as the Reds saw off the challenge presented by the Hunters. Gama marshalled the central part of the field for the Porcupines with finesse.
The Brazilian scored the second goal of the match on the nick of half time when he smashed in on a half volley inside the box. It was his second goal for the club -all in league matches- and he dedicated it to his pregnant wife and unborn baby.
His skills and industry saw him register a hockey assist in the fourth goal scored by countryman Michael Vinícius Silva de Morais in the 83rd minute.
The win moves Asante Kotoko to 3rd position with 31 points on the league log, 2 points behind first placed Great Olympics and a point behind second-placed Karela United.
