Brazilian forward Michael Vinícius scores on Asante Kotoko debut
1 min readBrazilian striker Michael Vinícius Silva de Morais scored on his debut for Asante Kotoko in their big home victory over Bechem United on Wednesday afternoon.
The Porcupine Warriors secured a 4-0 home win over Bechem United in their match-day 16 outstanding fixture at the Len Clay Stadium.
Michael Vinícius scored on the 84th-minute to
announce his presence at the club. He tapped in from a rebound to score his first-ever goal for the Ghanaian giants in Obuasi.
He was brought on in the 79th minute as replacement for youngster Francis Kumi Andy – who netted Kotoko’s third goal.
Michael Vinícius joined the Ghanaian giants on two-and-half year deal after reaching an agreement earlier this month.
Vinicius has had previous stints with Linkoping City and Vasalunds IF (Sweden).
