RTU defender optimistic RTU will beat Asante Kotoko by more than 3 goals on Sunday

Real Tamale United (RTU) defender, Rashid Alhassan is confident of hammering league leaders Asante Kotoko by at least 3 goals on Sunday.

RTU will host Kotoko in match-day 25 of the Ghana Premier League at the Aliu Mahama Stadium in Tamale.

The Northern Blues returns to their favourite venue after serving a two-match ban following their assault on a referee.

Kotoko have been impressive on the road this season and many believe the Porcupine Warriors will deepen the woes of RTU to maintain their lead on the league log.

But Rashid Alhassan who joined RTU from Medeama SC in the middle of the season, believes his outfit have what it takes to break down Asante Kotoko on the afternoon.

According to the former Wa All Stars [Now Legon Cities FC) defender, RTU will beat Kotoko in Tamale with more than three goals.

“Kotoko have a good squad, they are on form because they recently beat Hearts of Oak and are leading the league table as well but we will beat them on Sunday

“Even though our performance hasnthe ’t been that encouraging, playing against Kotoko comes with a different energy and I believe we can beat them by three or more goals on Sunday”, Rashid Alhassan told Kyfilla.

Kotoko leads the Ghana Premier League log with 52 points after 24 rounds of matches, while RTU occupies the 15th spot with 25 points.
