Yaw Preko has become the new head coach of Nsoatreman, having signed a two-year contract with the club, Bismark Oppong Korang, a club official has told footydreamsgh.com.
Preko succeeds Maxwell Konadu, who departed Nsoatreman earlier in the week to join South African second-tier team Black Leopards on a three-year deal.
During the recent season, Konadu led Nsoatreman to their first-ever trophy by winning the MTN FA Cup and was preparing for their inaugural CAF Confederation Cup campaign. However, he and the club agreed to part ways amicably.
In response, Nsoatreman quickly appointed Preko, confident in his experience and capabilities.
Preko, who has previously managed Ghana’s U-20 team, Hearts of Oak, and King Faisal, most recently coached Medeama.
He is eager to guide Nsoatreman through their historic African campaign.
Alongside his new position, Preko will continue his role as the coach of Ghana’s U-15 boys national team, a position he was appointed to earlier.
Both Nsoatreman and their supporters are excited to see how Preko will lead the club in their African football journey.
