NSA withdraws outrageous charges on clubs use of Accra Sports Stadium

The National Sports Authority has in a shape turn of events withdrawn their earlier directive of charging fees on Ghana Premier league clubs in the use of the the Accra sports Stadium.

A statement released by the Management of the Sports Authority said the intervention of the Minister of Sports, and concernems raised by other stakeholders necessitated the withdrawal.

“The management of the National Sports Authority has withdrawn the new rates for the usage of the Accra Sports Stadium with immediate effect. Management will meet the clubs affected at 1pm today at the Accra Sports Stadium” the statement read.

The Ghana FA President Kurt Okraku expressed shock at the decision of the NSA and gave hint of meeting the NSA to discuss the issues at hand.
