FIFA WCQ QATAR 2022: GHANA VS NIGERIA

The Super Eagles of Nigeria have been forced into making two changes to the team that started the first leg of their world cup playoff with Ghana in Kumasi on Friday.

Nigeria will be without the duo of Lorient hardman Innocent Bonke who picked up a hamstring injury during the course of the 0-0 draw against Ghana, which led to his substitution. Scan showed he will be out for a minimum of three weeks.

Villarreal winger Samuel Chukwueze will also miss the game after picking up a muscular injury during the course of the game on Friday, when he went down unchallenged. He will be out for at least a month.

The second leg will be played on Tuesday night at the Mashood Abiola stadium.

Ghana and Nigeria still have a chance to pick the ticket for the Qatar 2022 as outright win for the Black Stars will seal qualification for this year’s World Cup in Qatar.
