Milo Games Qualifiers: DAY 1 wrap-up: KUHIS, Fomena AMASS, O’SEC TECH, T.K and others qualify for round of 32

Defending champions Kumasi High School have qualified for the knockout stage of the 2023 Ashanti Regional Sports and Colleges Boys’ Soccer Competition following an impressive performance on the first day of the qualifiers.
Pitched in Group 3, KUHIS secured three wins out of three games on Thursday, June 29, at KUMACA.
They secured a 3-1 victory over Asare Bediako in the first game before picking up a 2-0 victory against Dedease Agric SHS. The last game saw KUHIS obliterate Wiafe Akenten 8-0 in just 40 minutes.

Fomena AMASS also progressed to the knockout stage after beating St. Michaels 3-2 on penalties following a 1-1 draw in regulation time. They beat Al Azaria 3-1 in their first encounter but lost on penalties to Barekese after a scoreless draw.
Kofiase SHS also sailed through to the round of 32 after securing wins over Mansoman SHS and Juaben SHS.
Tweneboah Koduah SHS, Obuasi Sec Tech, Ejuraman, Aduman SHS and Christ the King SHS have all booked their places in the knockout stage.
The qualifiers will continue on Friday with some exciting encounters.
