Match Report: Inter Allies hit two past Karela United

Inter Allies returned to winning ways with a 2-0 win against league contenders Karela United at Dawu in the match-day 19 of the 2020/21 Ghana Premier League on Sunday afternoon.

 The Capelli Boys needed two second-half goals through Nafiu Sulemana and Samuel Armah to register a vital home win over the visitors as they continue to fight against relegation.

Inter Allies proved they were in to pick the maximum points as they controlled the game at the early stages.

Dangerman Richmond Lamptey came close in the 8th minute but his strike was pushed away by Karela United’s goalkeeper Yaw Ansah.

The half ended goalless at the Dawu Park.  

Nafiu Sulemana scored the first goal of the game for Inter Allies in the 70th minute.

Inter Allies dominated possession and were presented with an opportunity to double their lead. Allies were awarded a penalty in the 83rd minute.

Samuel Armah scored from the spot-kick to secure a deserved 2-0 win for Inter Allies.
