Majeed Ashimeru scores on Anderlecht debut
1 min readMajeed Ashimeru was on target for RSC Anderlecht just 3 minutes into his debut.
The 22-year-old, who joined Anderlecht in mid-January from Red Bull Salzburg on a 6 months loan deal was named on the bench for the cup game against RFC Liege.
Anderlecht opened the scoring in the 29th minute through Paul Omo Mukairo.
Majeed was introduced into the game in the 62nd minute, he came on for Jacob Bruun Larsen.
The youngster instantly announced his arrival, he scored just 3 minutes on the field to power Anderlecht to a 2-0 victory.
Anderlecht’s next game will be against KRC Genk on Sunday at the Luminus Arena. Ashimeru will hope he’ll be handed a starting role by manager Vincent Kompany.
