‘Let’s stop accusing the FA of our own flaws’ – Former Kotoko BoD member tells club

Bernard Ziel, a former board member of Asante Kotoko, has urged the club’s supporters to stop blaming everyone for the team’s troubles.
Recently, some management members and fans of the club have accused the Ghana Football Association (GFA) of plotting against them by appointing biased referees for their games.
Additionally, some supporters have accused the Kumasi sports media of having an agenda against the team.
However, Ziel dismissed these claims during an interview on Kessben FM, stating that the GFA was responsible for Asante Kotoko winning the 2021-22 Ghana Premier League.
He called for those in charge to take responsibility and make practical decisions to help the club, and recommended that the club’s management advertise their games well through traditional media to increase stadium attendance.
