Abdulai Gazale names Asante Kotoko starting XI to face Berekum Chelsea; Danlad, others start

Ahead of this afternoon’s Premier League matchweek 26 fixture against Berekum Chelsea, Coach Abdulai Gazale has revealed the starting lineup for Asante Kotoko.

The Porcupines, who emerged victorious with a 2-1 win over Berekum Chelsea during their week 9 fixture at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium, will now face them at the Berekum Golden City.

However, the team will be without four players who featured in their previous match against King Faisal. Matheus de Souza and Nicholas Osei-Bonsu are sidelined with injuries, while Richard Boadu Agadas and Eric Zeze have been suspended due to card accumulations.

In the absence of the suspended players, Danlad Ibrahim will be in goal, with Augustine Agyapong and John Tedeku playing as full-backs. Mohammed Alhassan and Sherrif Mohammed will take up the centre-back roles for the Reds.

The midfield trio will comprise of Richmond Lamptey, Mohammed Sherrif, and Rocky Dwamena. Meanwhile, Stephen Mukwala, Isaac Oppong and Georges Mfegue will form the attacking line for Asante Kotoko.
