Kotoko Legend Opoku Nti charges Etouga to be consistent

Asante Kotoko Legend Opoku Nti is urging the Porcupine Warriors goal monger Franck Etouga Mbella to focus improving his fighting spirit and consistency to record a higher goal count with 7 matches to end the Ghana Premier League season.
Despite leading the Goal King race with 18 goals, 2 ahead of closest contender Yaw Annor, the Cameroonian striker has scored all his goals in only 11 of his 23 GPL appearances.
Based on the statistics available, the former AS Fortuna de Mfou attacker has gone 12 games in this season’s league without finding the back of the net.
With AshantiGold striker Yaw Annor piling pressure on Etouga Mbella for the Goal King award, ex-Kotoko striker Opoku Nti reckons the witty 20-year-old goal poacher needs to fight harder and be more consistent with his conversion rate.
“Mbella is a very good striker and very intelligent goal scorer, but he needs to work on his fighting spirit and consistency level. I think if he improves on these he will score more goals,” Nti told Accra based Angel FM.
Etouga has scored 14 of his 18 goals in home matches, and will be yearning to again capitalize on Kotoko’s home encounter against Aduana Stars on Sunday to push himself further up the Top Scorer’s chart.
