Jonah Osabutey completes OH Leuven switch

The Newly-promoted Belgian Jupilier League side have announced the signing of the former Ghana U20 star.
Former Ghana youth international Jonah Osabutey has completed his loan switch to OH Leuven in the ongoing summer transfer window.
The 21-year-old has joined the Den Dreef Stadium outfit until the end of the season from German Bundesliga club Werder Bremen.
The club’s official statement reads “Werder Bremen is lending Jonah Osabutey to OH Leuven until the end of this campaign.
“This 21-year-old Ghanaian grew out to be the trendsetter at Royal Excel Mouscron last season.”
He spent last season on loan at Belgian top-flight league club Royal Excel Mouscron Osabutey had a tremendous debut season at the Belgian club after netting five goals with three assists in 22 appearances.
Before joining Royal Excel Mouscron, he had scored twelve (12) goals in 27 games for Werder Bremen II side.
He is a product of Ghanaian second-tier side Tema Youth FC. Osabutey was a member of the Ghana U20 squad that failed to qualify for the 2017 CAF U17 Cup of Nations.
