If you criticize the GFA, your team will be relegated – Micky Charles

Outspoken football administrator Charles Kwadwo Ntim has taken a swipe at the Kurt Okraku-led Ghana Football Association after the Disciplinary Committee announced the verdict on the Ebusua Dwarfs vs Legon Cities game that ended abruptly.

The current GFA administration led by the former Executive Chairman of Dreams FC have come under severe scrutiny with unfounded claims and conspiracy theories from section of the football fraternity.

The current issue levelled against the football governing body is the state of refeering in the ongoing football season.

The most recent is the ruling of the Disciplinary Committee of the GFA, where Legon Cities were declared winners in the botched game against Ebusua Dwarfs on match-day 23 of the Premier League.

Many have read various interpretations into the decision, and Charles Kwadwo Ntim affectionately called Mickey Charles – who was sharing his opinion on the ruling – asserted that any vocal administrator who criticizes the football association will be victimized.-

“There’s culture of silence in Ghana Football. If you criticise, your team will go to relegation,” he told Accra-based Angel 102.9 FM.

According to the owner of Division One League side Techiman City he will return to the country when the GFA president leaves office.

“I will return to Ghana football the day Prosper Harrison Addo and Kurt Okraku leave office,”

Meanwhile, Mickey Charles – who is presently based in the United States of America – has also faced the full rigors of the law when his side were docked points against Tamale City after the referee handling the game opted not to continue due to insecurity.
