Annor Walker, Head Coach of Great Olympics, has lauded the tactical prowess of Kotoko coach Mariano Barreto in their 0-0 stalemate on Friday in Accra.

According to him, he up against an experienced trainer who mapped up a good strategy to neutralised his side’s plans and denied him the maximum three points.

The two sides met in a top of the table clash on match-day 20 of the 2020/21 Ghana Premier contest at the Accra Sports Stadium.

Speaking in a post-match presser, Walker who was confident of beating Kotoko before the game admitted that he met an experienced brain who read his tactics well and secured what he wanted.

“Anyway, I will say I played against experienced coach who saw my tactics and you could see all of them were defending, we can’t penetrate because all the ten players go back behind the ball because he was also defending so I will say it is a good game but at the end of the day we drawn”

Despite the results, Great Olympics are still placed 2nd with 34 points behind league leaders Asante Kotoko who are leading with 35 points.
