The talented defender, known for his performances with the Black Stars, has made the switch from the English Premier League side, Southampton, to the French Ligue 1 club, AS Monaco.
Having signed a five-year deal with Monaco, Salisu is expected to play a crucial role for the club in the upcoming season. He has already joined his new teammates for pre-season training and might feature in the friendly match against Arsenal before the start of the new campaign.

“It’s a very very great club and I am happy to be here, like I side it is a big step for my career,” he told the club’s media.
“I am looking forward to the journey, to win games and to be the best team we can be. I am very happy to be here. I arrived yesterday evening and I enjoy it here,” he added.
AS Monaco will kick off their Ligue 1 campaign with an away trip to face Clermont Foot, where Salisu will have the opportunity to compete against his compatriot, Alidu Seidu.
