Hearts Of Oak appoint Ben Adjei as new Team Manager
1 min readFormer player and assistant coach of Accra Hearts Of Oak, Ben Adjei has been appointed as new Team manager (Welfare Officer) for the club to replace indisposed Sabahn Quaye.
The former Hearts Of Oak defender begins duty tomorrow as the team plays against Ebusua Dwarfs in match-day 15 in the ongoing Ghana Premier League.
Reports in the media after the exit of head coach Kosta Papic suggested that Sabahn Quaye had been fired by the club.
But according to the club, Quaye who has served the club for over a decade is sick and is currently on a two-week sick leave.
They have, therefore, appointed Ben Adjei to sit in for Quaye as he receives treatment at home.
Coach Samuel Nii Noi will lead the Phobians in their league game against Dwarfs at the Accra Sports Stadium on Sunday.
