Accra Hearts Of Oak forward, Patrick Razak has stated that the Rainbow Club has got quality to clinch the 2020-21 Ghana Premier League.

The Ghanaian giants have not been able to win the top-flight since 2009 and they are poised to end the drought.

The 25-year-old recently returned to the Phobians after an unsuccessful spell with Guinean powerhouse Horoya AC.

Although the side have lost two key players – Joseph Esso and Kofi Kordzi, the former Tamale Utrecht winger insists Hearts have enough quality to compete for the ultimate.

“We have [good and quality squad in the Hearts of Oak team] Those of us in this squad will give good performances this season. Our target for the season is to win the Ghana Premier League,” he told Ocean TV.

“Hearts of Oak have the chance of winning the GPL with the quality we have we can compete against any team,” he added.

“I would say our capabilities of winning are high and we know the strength of teams in Ghana so I will say Hearts is capable of winning the League,” he concluded.

Hearts have acquired striker Abednego Tetteh as well as Ivorian winger Eric Dizan to strengthen the team ahead of the new season.

They will travel to Dormaa to face Aduana Stars on the opening day of the season on November 14, 2020.
