Hearts coach Samuel Boadu presents Best Coach of the Year Award to the club’s board chairman Togbe Afede XIV

The reigning best tactician in the local scene paid a courtesy call to present his 2021 Ghana Football Awards plaque to the Board Chairman of Hearts of Oak on Thursday.

Accra Hearts of Oak head coach Samuel Boadu presented his Men’s Coach of the Year award to the club’s Board Chairman, Togbe Afede XIV at his office in Accra.

The 35-year-old had a tête-à-tête with the Business mogul after presenting the award to his boss at the Trade Fair Centre.

Boadu was named the  the best coach of the year at the 2021 Ghana Football Awards.

 He beat off competition from Great Olympics’ Annor Walker and Ghana U20 gaffer Karim Zito to clinch the accolade.

He won the prestigious award at the third edition of the Ghana Football Awards held at the Grand Arena, Accra International Conference Center (AICC) on Saturday 3rd July 2021.

Boadu joined Hearts of Oak on a three-and-half year deal prior to the commencement of the second round of the 2020/21 Ghana Premier League season after parting ways with fellow Premier League side Medeama SC.
