2021 Ghana Football Awards: Hearts Of Oak scoop three awards
1 min readThe 3rd edition of the Ghana Football Awards was successfully held at the Grand Arena, Accra International Conference Center (AICC) on Saturday 3rd July, 2021.
Ghanaian giants and current league leaders, Hearts Of Oak picked three top awards at the colourful ceremony which was graced by some high profile dignitaries like Fred Pappoe, John Paintsil, Nii Odartey Lamptey and others.
Hearts of Oak were named the best male club of the year at the award ceremony held in Accra.
The Phobians scooped the prestigious award from their arch-rivals Asante Kotoko and Great Olympics. Also, the Ghana U20 male team was nominated in the category.
Hearts talisman Ibrahim Salifu scooped the best local-based player of the year accolade on the night.
The trainer of the side, Samuel Boadu was also adjudged as the Best Male Coach of the year ahead of Olympics’ Annor Walker and Black Satellite gaffer Karim Zito.
