Newly named board chairman of Okwawu United, Samuel Anim Addo has called on the club’s supporters to rally behind them as they seek to turn the fortunes of the club around.
The Ghana Football Association Executive Council member was appointed board chairman of the Nkawkaw based club by life Patron of the club, Kwahuhene Dasebre Akuamoah Agyapong II.
He heads a five-member board which includes Kingsley Adofo-Addo as secretary, Yaw Obeng [Finance Director], Emmanuel Akoto-Bamfo [Marketing and Corporate Director] and Prince Boateng [Operations Director].
Sammy Anim has been tasked by the board to restore the one-time Ghana Premier League giants to their former glory days.
And in an interview with Accra-based Hot FM, Anim Addo called on the club fans to support the board in the quest to restore lost glory.
“I will appeal to every Okwahu native to come and support the team for the lost glory to come back. The plan is to bring Okwahu united back to premier” He concluded.
