Ghana prodigy Ernest Nuamah to sign for Lyon in a €30m deal

1 min read

Ghanaian prodigy, Ernest Nuamah, is about to break Danish transfer record in a ground-breaking transfer to French side Lyon.

The teenage talent would cost the French club Lyon a stunning €30 million, according to reports.

The previous Danish record for a transfer cost was €17 million, which Rennes spent for Ghanaian winger Kamaldeen Sulemana. This historic fee is almost twice as much.

However, Nuamah’s relocation crosses international boundaries because it is anticipated to be the most expensive in Scandinavian history.

Nuamah, who is only 19 years old, has garnered a lot of notice for his exceptional on-field abilities.

Notably, a number of illustrious teams, notably PSG, displayed interest in signing him.

Despite the competition, Lyon moved quickly to hire him.

Nuamah’s transfer marks a turning point for Danish football and reflects his immense potential.

He was absent from Nordsjaelland’s recent league match against Silkerborg as he finalises his move to France.

Nuamah scored 12 goals last season and has started the new season in incredible form, scoring five goals already.
