GFA to decide on the fate of CK Akonnor Friday

The Executive Committee of the Ghana football association(GFA) and the Black Stars management committee will tomorrow (10th of September, 2021) meet and review the technical report from the head coach of the senior national team.
Coach CK Akonnor has been under intense pressure to either resign from duty or face the sack due to the team’s(Black Stars) current performance in the ongoing 2022 FIFA World Cup qualifiers where Ghana recorded a win over Ethiopia and suffered a defeat to South Africa.
This has called on the FA executives and the management committee of the team to meet immediately and resolve the matter.
Their decision will be based on the technical reports from the coach.
