Former Techiman Eleven Wonders and Medeama SC Coach, Ignatius Osei Fosu has chosen Asante Kotoko defender, Augustine Agyapong as the player that has impressed him most in the 2021/22 Ghana Premier League.
Twenty matches have so far been played in the Ghana Premier League and Kotoko are firmly on top of the league table.

They have had some top performers like Frank Mbella who has 14 goals so far but Ignatius speaking in an interview with Max TV picked Augustine Agyapong as the best GPL player so far.
“I think the Asante Kotoko Augustine Agyapong has been fantastic for me because you look at Nettey, they brought in Samuel Appiah from Medeama but Agyapong has been solid”
He also mentioned names of few players who have also impressed him.
“Kofi Asmah of Medeama and Zubairu of King Faisal has proven something too, James Serwornu would have been in but he has not had enough playing time recently”
Augustine Agyapong has been a revelation for the Porcupine Warriors and his good form has seen him cement a place as the first choice right back.
Kotoko are currently have 44 points as they lie 1st on the table.
