Ex-Hearts of Oak striker Gilbert Fiamenyo remanded in police custody for two weeks for assault

Former Hearts of Oak and Heart of Lions striker, Gilbert Fiamenyo has been detained by a circuit court in Accra for assaulting a police officer, according to a reported gathering from Happy Sports.

The 29-year-old was arrested at the Accra Sports Stadium on Sunday afternoon during his former side’s Ghana Premier League clash against Aduana Stars.

The report suggests that Fiamenyo was a friend at the Stadium when the incident happened which resulted in his arrest.

He was remanded by the Adjabeng Court on Monday morning and set to reappear at a later date.
