Ex-Hearts of Oak star Dong Bortey hails Aziz Nurudeen after Super Clash’s wondrous performance

Former Hearts of Oak forward, Bernard Dong Bortey has been left drooling over the performance of midfielder Abdul-Aziz Nurudeen in Sunday’s Super Clash.

The two most decorated clubs in Ghana played a pulsating scoreless draw in the outstanding gameweek 7 Premier league fixture at the Accra Sports Stadium.

Abdul-Aziz Nurudeen who has been injured for nearly a year and made a return a fortnight ago against Great Olympics was handed a starting role and left his foot print all over the game.

The young midfielder gave the Hearts of Oak defense proper cover and as well neutralized the potency of the Asante Kotoko midfield that has been on top in almost every game this season.

Nurudeen throughout the game was always on alert to break down Asante Kotoko’s attacks and showed composure when on the ball. He rarely relinquished possession and was the link between Hearts of Oak’s defense and attack.

The 23-year old’s scintillating performance caught the attention Don Bortey who took to Twitter to state that the midfielder needs to be rewarded with a plot of land for his performance.

“Please watch the match again and give this guy a plot of land for me. Erh,” the Hearts of Oak legend wrote on Twitter.
