Former Ghana midfielder, Emmanuel Agyemang-Badu believes Ajax youngster Kudus Mohammed has the requisite capacity to be one of Ghana’s greatest players of all time.
Kudus has been phenomenal since landing his first call-up to the Black Stars. His incredible start to his international career has seen him scoring two goals and assisting on two occasions in his first four games for the senior national team.
The 20-year-old was on target when Ghana played a 1-1 stalemate against South Africa in a 2021 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier, as well as assisting on two goals against Sao Tome and Principe.
Badu lauded Kudu’s intelligence and confidence whenever he possesses the ball.
“I will pick Kudus [among the most promising talent] because he is a very wonderful chap,” Agyemang Badu told Citi TV.
”I have watched his games at Ajax and he is a very intelligent player and he’s very confident on the ball.
“Unfortunately injuries are threatening to slow him down.
”Kudus can be one of the greatest players from Ghana, like Abedi Pele if he can stay free of injuries.” He added.
