DOL Week 23 wrap-up: Accra Lions extend lead, Agbozume Weavers record first win of the season, Techiman City fail to show up for Steadfast clash

In Zone One, Wa Suntaa shocked league leaders Real Tamale United (RTU) by defeating them 1-0. Berekum Arsenal recorded a 3-1 home victory against Nsoatreman to close down on RTU. Solomon Commey and Lawrence Arthur scored to earn Bofoakwa Tano a 2-0 victory against Nkoranza Warriors.
At the Sunyani Coronation park, Brong Ahafo United recorded a 2-1 victory against Kintampo FC. The game between Steadfast and Techiman City didn’t come on, Techiman City failed to show up for the game, whiles Mighty Royals will host Tamale City on Monday at the Sunyani Coronation park.
In Zone Two, first placed Bibiani Gold Stars and second placed Skyy Fc recorded victories, Bibiani Gold Stars recorded a 2-1 away victory against New Edubiase. Skyy came from a goal down to beat Unistar Soccer Academy 3-1 at home.
At the Sekondi Gyandu park, Sekondi Hasaacas and Samartex drew 1-1. Wassaman United picked up a 4-2 away victory against Achiken Fc, whiles Star Madrid defeated BYF Academy 3-1.
In Zone Three, Accra Lions stretched their lead at the top with a 3-1 victory against Mighty Jets. Second placed Tema Youth were held away from home by Kotoku Royals, 2-2. Abraham Laryea’s 65th-minute strike sealed all three points for Vision against Accra City.
Nania Fc defeated Heart of Lions 1-0. Moses Ametefe and Adam Owusu scored to earn Agbozume Weavers a 2-1 victory against Phar Rangers. Krystal Palace defeated Okyeaman Planners 3-2, whiles Danbort defeated Accra Young Wise 2-1.
