Gameweek 27 of the Division One league saw some exciting games played across the various match centers.

In Zone One, a solitary Welbeck Takyi strike handed Bofoakwa Tano a 1-0 victory against Crocodile Stars. The highly anticipated game between BA United and RTU ended abruptly after fans of BA United attacked the referee for awarding RTU a penalty.

The Tamale derby between Steadfast and Tamale City ended 1-1. Berekum Arsenal defeated Wa Suntaa 2-1 to continue their haunt for a return to the Premier league. Unity FC defeated Nkoranza Warriors 1-0, whiles Yendi Gbewaa and Young Apostles played out a 1-1 draw.

In Zone Two, Bibiani Goldstars were held to a scoreless draw by Venomous Vipers. Sekondi Hasaacas defeated Proud United 1-0. New Edubiase defeated Skyy Fc 3-2 to derail their hopes of qualifying to the elite league.

Swedru All Blacks came from a goal down to beat BYF Academy 3-1. Nzema Kotoko handed Samartex a 1-0 defeat at the Azulealanu park. At the Agogo Collins Park, Pacific Heroes and Wassaman played out a 0-0 draw. The game between Achiken and Unistar didn’t come on due to heavy rains.

In Zone Three, Accra Lions returned to winning ways with a 4-0 victory against Okyeman Planners. In Agbozume, Tema Youth were surprisingly held to 1-1 draw by strugglers Agbozume Weavers. Dabort and Krystal Palace played out a 1-1 draw.

Kotoku Royals defeated Nania FC 2-1, Vision and Uncle T. played a scoreless stalemate, whiles Mighty Jets picked a 2-1 away victory against Accra City.
