DOL match-day 21 wrap-up: RTU extend lead at the top, Asokwa Deportivo pip leaders Gold Stars, Accra Lions close down on Tema Youth

Gameweek 21 of the Division One league saw some exciting games played across the various match centers.

In Zone One, Lawrence Arthur’s solitary strike earned Bofoakwa Tano a 1-0 victory against Techiman City. Steadfast were held at home by Yendi Gbewaa. Tamale City defeated Crocodile Stars 3-0 to keep chase at the top.

It rained goals in Tamale as Real Tamale United beat Nsoatreman 3-2 to extend their lead at the top. Nkoranza Warriors defeated Mighty Royals 2-1, whiles Berekum Arsenal and Kintampo FC played out a 1-1 draw.

In Zone Two, Asokwa Deportivo defeated Bibiani Gold Stars 1-0. Skyy FC as well failed to win at home as they were held by BYF Academy. Unistar thrashed Proud United 4-0.

At the Essipong Stadium, Sekondi Hassacas defeated Venomous Vipers 1-0. Achiken won 1-0 at home against Pacific Heroes, whiles Samartex defeated New Edubiase 1-0 away from home.

In Zone Three, Accra Lions bounced back to winning ways with a 4-2 victory against Accra Young Wise. Prince Ofori’s strike earned Vision a 1-0 victory against Danbort. Accra City defeated Agbozume Weavers 1-0.

At the Kpando Sports Stadium, Heart of Lions defeated Okyeman Planners 2-0, Tudu Mighty Jets shocked Krystal Palace in Akosombo, whiles Tema Youth and Nania drew 1-1.
