DOL Match-day 14 wrap-up: RTU, Arsenal secure emphatic wins, Skyy FC thrash Hasaacas, Tema Youth beat Vision FC to go top of table

The 2020/21 Division One League continued over the weekend with match-Week 14 fixtures across the various zones.

In Zone One, Real Tamale United (RTU) thrashed Yendi Gbewaa in the derby, while brace from Ansu Kofi Patrick and a goal from Aboagye Ebenezer secured former top-flight side Berekum Arsenals a 3-0 away victory against Nsoatreman FC.

Mighty Royals and Bofoakwa Tano played out a 0-0 draw whereas Young Apostles and Techiman City played out a 0-0 draw as well, with Tamale City defeating Unity FC 2-1.

In Zone Two, Bibiani Goldstars defeated Samartex 2-1 to stay top of the table. New Edubiase recorded an impressive 2-0 victory against Star Madrid.

Achiken’s poor away performance continued as they lost 2-1 to Asokwa Deportivo. Skyy thrashed Sekondi Hasaacas 3-0, while bottom-placed Proud United also defeated Venomous Vipers 3-0.

In Zone Three, a 89th minute strike by Daniel Yeboah secured Tema Youth a 2-1 victory against Vision FC. Two goals in the second half from Emmanuel Hammond and Abdul Rahman ensured that Heart of Lions defeated Agbozume Weavers 2-0 to bounce back to winning ways.

Also, Accra Youngwise defeated Uncle T 3-2, while Amidaus recorded their second win of the season as they defeated Nania FC 1-0 away from home.

Accra Lions will host Danbort at the Accra Sports Stadium on Monday.
