Christopher Nettey bids farewell to Asante Kotoko

With his time at Asante Kotoko now at an end, Christopher Nettey has posted a farewell message to the Porcupine supporters.

In the note, published on his Twitter feed, the defender thanks the reigning Ghana Premier League champions for giving him the opportunity to serve the club. 

He noted that he cherished every moment during his stay with the Ghanaian giants.

Christopher Nettey joined Asante Kotoko in 2019 for a fee of US $34, 000 over a three-year period from lower-tier side Attram De’Visser Academy. 

According to our sources, Kotoko decided against renewing the contract as the demands of the player were seen as excessive. 

Nettey established himself as a mainstay with the club.

His consistency with the Porcupine Warriors earned him a national team call-up, where he made his debut against Sudan in an AFCON qualifier at the Cape Coast Stadium.
