The match of Al Hilal and
Asante Kotoko is CALLED OFF as the Ghanaian giants couldn’t raise the required number of players to start the match.
The Ghanaian giants have been rocked by rising positive cases in the team after seven players and four officials tested positive for the virus.
The game which was scheduled for Wednesday January 6, 2021, had to be called off by officials.
A minimum number of team players required for a CAF Champions League match is 15.
Asante Kotoko travelled with a list of 22 players . Out of which 8 players are alleged to be Covid Positive therefore, reducing the minimum squad size to 14 players ( that falls short of the required squad size )
