CAF Champions League: Injuries Hit WAC Of Morocco’s Camp
1 min readMoroccan side WAC are seriously preparing toward their CAF Champions League game against Ghanaian giants Accra Hearts of Oak has. But the side has been dealt major injury setback.
Three solid players will miss the game against Hearts of Oak including their top star man Salahuddin Benisho.
The other two key players in the team to miss the game on Sunday through injuries are Hamza Haimoud and sufian Kerkash.
The absence of these players is a huge problem for the 2016 CAF Champions League winners.
Manager Walid Regragui earlier expressed concerns about the missing of his top players as Morocco played against Guinea Bissue during the break. Six players have been involved in international duty.
WAC foreign-based players Simon Msoua of Tanzania, Muayyad Al-Lafi and Gay Mbenza are yet to reports to the camp.
Accra Hearts of Oak will invite WAC of Morocco on Sunday 17th October 2021 at Accra Sports stadium in the first leg.
