Breaking News: Asante Kotoko win 2021-22 Ghana Premier League title

Asante Kotoko have been crowned the 2021-22 Ghana Premier League champions after drawing with regional rivals Ashantigold in Obuasi.

The Miners shot themselves in to the lead through Yaw Annor in the first half before Maxwell Agyemang rose above the Ashgold defense to head home from Imoro Ibrahim’s cross in the second half to levell it for Kotoko.

The draw sends Kotoko 10 points clear of second-placed Bechem United and Medeama with just three games to end the season.
