Bechem United defender Kofi Agbesimah has stated that Asante Kotoko Brazilian star Fabio Gama cannot score against his side in today’s Ghana Premier League outstanding fixture between the two clubs.
According to him, the hype is on the Porcupine Warriors going into the game this afternoon in Obuasi, but his side is well-prepared and determined to stop Kotoko.
The game was called off due to a heavy downpour.
“We were determined to win this match. Unfortunately, the rain fell and the first match couldn’t come off, he told Ashh FM.
“I also had a yellow card and wouldn’t have featured in that fixture but fortunately this time, I am fit and if the Coach feels I have to start the game I will do my best to make sure the club wins against Asante Kotoko.
“We are equal and we believe in our quality of our players and we hope we will beat Asante Kotoko.
The defender believes their opponent is enjoying all the media hype, but that will not deter them from picking all the maximum points.
“The hype is all for Asante Kotoko but we know we are also very good players. Fabio Gama can score a goal against Techiman Eleven Wonders but not against us.
“Football is a game of 90 minutes both teams will make the noise but when the match starts we will know the club that will win. We are not scored of the Asante Kotoko players.”
Agbesimah has been impressive this season with Bechem United, featuring in 16 out of the 17 matches played so far.
